    The Nuclear Engineering Program at the University of South Carolina in Columbia is looking for qualified candidates for faculty positions.

    • Seeking applicants at all levels who have a strong vision for nuclear engineering education
    • Required qualifications: degree in nuclear engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field, research achievements, and teaching capacity
    • Associate Professor and Full Professor candidates must have relevant academic experience, excellence in teaching and research, competitive funding, and interdisciplinary collaborations

    Successful candidates will be responsible for developing internationally recognized, funded research programs in nuclear engineering areas such as advanced fuels and materials, reactor design, nuclear safeguards, or modeling and simulation.

    The University of South Carolina is known for its research and service activities, with a strong Mechanical Engineering Department hosting the only graduate Nuclear Engineering Program in the state.
