Job Title: Travel CT Technologist

Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Laredo, Texas. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography (CT) scans on patients with various medical conditions.

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in radiologic technology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for preparing patients for CT scans, operating imaging equipment, and maintaining a safe and clean working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform high-quality CT scans on patients with various medical conditions
Prepare patients for CT scans, including explaining procedures and positioning patients correctly
Operate CT scanners and other imaging equipment safely and efficiently
Maintain accurate records of patient information and scan results
Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care

Requirements:

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
Current licensure as a CT Technologist in the state of employment
1+ years of experience as a CT Technologist in a hospital or healthcare setting
Strong knowledge of CT scanning techniques and protocols
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Work Environment:

This is a 40-hour per week, 8-hour shift position that requires flexibility and adaptability. You will be working in a dynamic and fast-paced healthcare environment, interacting with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
