    Description

    Job Summary

    This is a hands-on position responsible for all preventative maintenance & mechanical repairs needed for GEM's diesel and gas vehicles.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and perform mechanical repairs and maintenance on company fleet vehicles (diesel and gas)
    • Perform preventative maintenance in a timely manner to reduce breakdowns and costs
    • Update managers of concerns and potential problems with employees or equipment
    • Inform operations of any equipment that needs to be restocked or replaced
    • Maintain a pleasant and professional cooperative attitude with co-workers, departments, and clients
    • Report to work at the appointed hour, as scheduled, and work the entire assigned schedule
    • Be accountable for all work within the assigned job
    • Enhance the operations department's reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests

    Requirements:

    • Automotive repair experience with both gas and diesel vehicles
    • Mechanical and technical aptitude
    • Valid driver's license
    • Experience working with 6.0 Power Stoke Diesel
    • Experience with Ford e250, e350, and e450 trucks with 4.6, 6.0, and 7.3L motors
