Job Overview: We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our dynamic team for a long-term care facility located in Sharpsburg, Pennsylvania. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, efficient, and committed to providing exceptional care to patients in a long-term care setting.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the pharmacist in the preparation, filling, and distribution of medications.
• Manage medication inventory, ensuring accuracy in order and stock levels.
• Handle prescription orders and verify patient information with utmost accuracy.
• Support the pharmacist in maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Provide exceptional customer service to residents and healthcare providers.
• Use pharmacy systems to accurately input and manage patient data.
• Participate in regular health, safety, and compliance trainings.

Shift:

• 8 hour varied shifts, rotating between pharmacy operating hours:
• Monday - Friday: 7:30am - 10:30pm
• Saturday:8:00am - 6:00pm; Sunday: 9:00am - 5:00pm.
• Weekend rotation is every 3rd or 4th weekend.

Requirements:

• LTC experience preferred.
• Pharmacy technician experience.
