And if it can be measured, it can also be realized. We are seeking an Associate IT Systems Engineer (m/w/d), located in Portugal.

How you will make a difference @ FARO

Assist in design, deployment and maintenance of computing systems infrastructure components, such as servers, email, backup and storage devices

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors to gather requirements and contribute to the planning and execution of infrastructure projects

Follow security and compliance standards while implementing infrastructure components, including servers, access controls, and encryption protocols

Monitor system performance and identify risks

Seek guidance from senior infrastructure engineers and actively participate in knowledge sharing and mentoring sessions

Assist in documenting infrastructure designs, configurations and procedures

This position requires

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent work experience

Basic understanding of information technology infrastructure engineering principles, design, and implementation

Familiarity with computing systems infrastructure components, such as servers, email, backup and storage devices

Knowledge of computing systems communication protocols and technologies

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to learn and troubleshoot performance and scalability issues

Familiarity with security and compliance standards in infrastructure systems

Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders
