We are looking for a VMware Engineer to join our multi-tenant hosting

team.

You'll apply your technical prowess and problem-solving skills to develop and maintain a robust, reliable, high-performance foundation for some of the largest healthcare organizations in the country to access our world-class software.

Our multi-tenant, ever-growing environment scales to thousands of compute nodes with a focus on end-user performance. Spend more time automating and orchestrating and less time performing point-and-click tasks.

As part of Epic's hosting team, you'll enjoy opportunities to keep abreast of the latest technologies, perform a wide variety of day to day tasks from traditional networking to storage administration, and collaborate and influence the design of our high-performance systems that ultimately allow healthcare providers to better do what they do best - take great care of patients.

Requirements

Relocation to the Madison, WI area (reimbursed)
Strong troubleshooting skills
Exposure to VMware vCenter
Knowledge of ESXi CLI
Familiarity with vSphere PowerCLI
Eligibility to work in the US without visa sponsorship
As a member of the Hosting team at Epic you'll be responsible for the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Epic Hosting


Those responsibilities include:
Following policies and procedures and escalating when policies or procedures are not followed
Escalating potential security incidents and providing relevant information
Meeting all security responsibilities defined in policies and procedures
