job summary:
Our client is seeking an Engineering Tech 4 for their Longmont site.

You will be tasked with a range of duties encompassing the design, testing, troubleshooting, and assembly of prototype electro-mechanical systems, specialized test equipment, and experimental circuitry designs.

Required:

-reading schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation.

-Desktop and multi-vendor server troubleshooting skills

1st shift: Mon to Fri - 8 Hours

responsibilities:

Prototype Assembly and Modification:

Collaborate with engineers to assemble and modify prototype electro-mechanical systems.

Comfortable with hand surface mount and reflow soldering techniques.

Follow schematics, diagrams, and written instructions for accurate assembly.

Perform modifications based on design changes.

Testing and Troubleshooting:

Conduct operational tests on systems and equipment.

Isolate and troubleshoot computer hardware and operating system faults (Linux and Windows Server).

Methodology and Remediation:

Determine effective methods to address system malfunctions.

Participate in continuous engineering lab improvement initiatives.

Equipment Expertise:

Utilize SSD manufacturing, test, and development equipment.

Familiarity with tools like switches, KVM, ESD field meters, Oakgate, SanBlaze, Quarch.

Deploy and configure oscilloscopes and protocol analyzers for diagnostics.

Product Inventory Management:

Maintain accurate records of equipment, components, and inventory.

Assist in tracking and organizing lab resources.

Collaborate with teams to ensure availability of necessary supplies.
