- Direct and manage all plant operations with overall responsibilities for production, maintenance, quality, finance, human resources, environment, health & safety, logistics and other production-related activities.
- Coordinate plant activities through planning with department managers to ensure the total manufacturing objectives and KPIs are accomplished in a safe, timely, and cost-effective manner.
- Develop and control plant budgets as required.
- Monitor and develop cost effective systems of control over capital, operating expenditures, and manpower expenses. Control and minimize unnecessary expenses.
- Monitor and manage overall plant performance for production and quality standards.
- Provide leadership and training for relevant staff to accomplish the company goals and objectives.
- Demonstrate leadership, communication proficiency, decision making, problem solving and analysis, and financial management
- Responsible for the performance management and succession planning of direct reports
- Reviewing and verifying that all plant processes are being followed on a regular basis and provide guidance on improvements to these processes
- Ensure the implementation and practice of all plant safety procedures
- Implement and drive continuous improvement activities through implementation of change management process and best practices
- Track competencies of direct reports, build a team and provide leadership and development as required to achieve the objectives required by the company
- Perform any other duties maybe assigned by the Americas Regional Head of Operations as and when needed.
- Bachelors Degree, in related Business and/or Manufacturing field and 10 years experience in a plant management role
- Proven track record in managing all facets in a manufacturing environment
- Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Experience in implementing and maintaining ISO standards preferred.
- Proven track record of success in implementing programs and business initiatives.
- Strong internal and external communication, and team-building skills.
- Ability to energize and develop all levels of the organization.
- Experience with SAP is preferred
- Experience / certification in Lean and Six Sigma preferred.
