Charles F. Day & Associates, LLC (CFDay), seeking individuals for a Field Service Technician to provide Field Support on Bradley Fighting Vehicle. Expectation is qualified candidate is willing to travel 10% CONUS.

Location: Ft. Cavazos, Texas

Education: Must have a High School diploma, or equivalent.

Skills Required:

• At a minimum, general mechanic experience is required.
• Able to troubleshoot minor technical issues.
• Able to document problems, develop procedures, and communicate recommended corrective action to the customer.
• Able to assist in planning, estimating, and scheduling required personnel and equipment for assigned field service projects.
• Able to assist in analyzing system deficiencies and provide input to recommended design changes to engineering.
• Able to assemble, install, test, maintain, and repair products and ensure products comply with customer requirements.
• Able to assist in resolving sensitive field service issues such as scheduling conflicts and funding concerns with customers.
• Able to assist in pre-overhaul inspections and the preparation of discrepancy reports.
• Able to serve as point of contact with customers, suppliers, and division management regarding schedules, technical issues, and administrative matters.
• Able to maintain configuration control databases and will be responsible for logistical functions for assigned field service projects.
• Must possess a valid state issued Driver's License.
• Must be able to pass a pre-screen background investigation check.
• Must be able to qualify for, and maintain, a US Government issued Common Access Card.

Skills Preferred:

• Heavy equipment mechanic, Bradley Fighting Vehicle specific preferred.

Experience Required:

• General mechanic skills.

Experience Preferred:

• Bradley Fighting Vehicle maintenance experience.
