    Position Summary:
    The Attorney will work with the litigation team in providing legal counsel to clients.

    The Attorney will be responsible for conducting legal research; drafting documents and pleadings; communicating with clients and experts; drafting and responding to discovery; and document review.

    In addition, the Attorney will handle depositions, hearings, and attend trials.

    Responsibilities:
    Prepare correspondence and legal documents such as pleadings, briefs, affidavits, motions, and settlement agreements.
    Handle depositions, hearings, and attend trial.
    Conduct legal research, prepare for and attend hearings and/or other legal proceedings, and provide legal counsel.
    Analyze conflicts in legal matters, advise clients on solutions, and negotiate on behalf of clients.
    Communicate with other attorneys, paralegals, and clients to ensure cases are handled efficiently.
    Maintain client files to ensure up-to-date information is available to other attorneys, paralegals and support staff.
    Performs other duties as assigned.

    Requirements & Competencies:

    2 years of civil litigation experience preferred.
    Florida Bar Admission
    Judicial clerkship experience or demonstrate strong research, writing, and legal analysis skills.
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    Must possess great time management and problem-solving skills.
    Superior attention to detail and organizational skills.
    Ability to work independently and collaborate with others.
    Must meet expectations for billing goals.
