We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accounting Manager to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, preferably within the AEC industry, and a proven track record of effectively managing financial operations.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead our accounting team and contribute to the financial success of our organization.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Perform Revenue Recognition for project portfolio
Prepare month-end / adhoc reporting and analysis
Manage Billing / project accounting staff and provide training
Oversee all aspects of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and financial reporting.
Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
Manage month-end and year-end close processes, including preparation of financial statements and analysis of financial data.
Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting to support strategic decision-making and business growth.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and drive profitability.
Lead and mentor accounting staff, providing guidance and support to foster professional development and ensure high performance.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA designation preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, and in a supervisory or managerial role.
Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements, preferably within the AEC industry.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., PROCAS, QuickBooks, SAP, or equivalent) and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively across departments and influence decision-making
