Job DescriptionLow Voltage Technician Trainee (Entry Level Position)Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
We are looking for a candidate that is interested in gaining experience in the Low Voltage Industry.
The selected hire will assist technicians with the following:
examine unit to locate defects such as broken wires or burned-out components using electronic test equipment. Inspect wiring and remove broken wires from units. Cut new wire to specified lengths, use wire cutters, or obtain pre-cut wires. Re-route and solder wires to specified terminals by following wiring diagram. Repair defective soldering.
Remove, repair, or replace defective components, such as resisters, transformers, and capacitors, using a variety of hand tools and brush touch-up paint on cabinet or case, and varnish on exposed wiring.
