OverviewThe forward-looking architecture team at AMD is looking for a senior software engineer. Our mission is to research, prototype and architect solutions for GPU graphics and compute.

Were always on the forefront of hardware and software development and focus on fully integrated, top-to-bottom solutions spanning everything from the software to the hardware.

The candidate will be working closely with AMD architects across multiple teams and contribute directly to the development of future hardware & new GPU programming models.

Key responsibilitiesWork on future GPU programming modelso Write simulation tools to explore the design spaceo Develop test applications to exercise the APIo Help shape the API and the target hardware to ensure a smooth development experienceDirectly contribute to future AMD GPU architectures & future APIAnalyse use casesSpecific job functionsDevelop novel algorithms and prove them out using prototypes in C++ and PythonMeasure and characterize workloadsDesign, develop and maintain internal software toolsWork in an environment with code reviewsSummarize findings and report to other groups within AMD (Hardware architecture team, driver team, etc.)

Skills and Experience requirements5+ years of professional programming experienceGood understanding of GPU or CPU architecturesSenior level industry experienceStrong analytical skillsStrong oral and written skills#LI-HS3Qualifications:
