    Description

    The Sr Forensic & DNA Support Analyst will work in a collaborative, technical environment with a focus on delivering required information, analysis, advice to the Sponsor and their mission partners across the organization and IC while being proactive in anticipating upcoming needs. The role will require a high degree of engagement with DNA Subject Matter Expert(s) on projects and initiatives as well as broader support to forensic needs to address gaps and position Sponsor to meet current and future mission requirements. Additionally, the candidate will provide support to training initiatives and briefing materials.

    Qualifications

    Required

  • Active TS/SCI with poly required
  • Bachelors and eighteen (18) years or more experience; Masters and sixteen (16) years or more experience; PhD or JD and thirteen (13) years or more experience.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience working with IC, DoD, or other government agencies
  • Minimum of 3 years working forensic cases.
  • Experience working in a Government DNA lab
  • Experience performing assessments and writing forensic reports and communicating findings
  • Experience in supporting Forensic research efforts
  • Experience briefing forensics topics to senior staff leadership
  • Experience developing training materials and leading familiarization training on forensic topics
  • Desired

  • Masters degree in scientific or related field
  • Meets quality assurance standards including degree requirements issued by FBI for qualified DNA analyst
