Who We're Looking For:
As a key member of the Operations team, the Manufacturing Engineerwill be responsible for assisting in developing and qualifying processes and equipment for the manufacturing of medical devices
About the Role:
Responsible to evaluate the manufacturing processes, design and conduct research programs; apply knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials; conferring with equipment vendors; soliciting observations from operators.
Develop manufacturing processes by studying product requirements; research, design, modify, and test manufacturing methods and equipment; conferring with equipment vendors.
Improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, time study, and space requirements, soliciting observations from operators, and equipment layout.
Create process documentation, including work instructions, control plans, and job safety analysis sheets.Keep equipment operational, coordinate maintenance and repair services; following manufacturer's instructions and established procedures; request and coordinate special services.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, or equivalent, plus 5+ years of experience as a Manufacturing/ Production Engineer, preferably in Medical Devices,Experience in process and equipment qualification for medical devices.
Experience in process improvement.Demonstrated knowledge of medical device manufacturing methods (adhesives, machining, molding, extrusion)
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in process simulations Electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic control experience Software skills: CAD (SolidWorks), Mini-
