Description

The Project Coordinator will be crucial assisting with new product development, ensuring that boats are designed to fit within the manufacturing processes at the New Bern, NC manufacturing plant.

Specializes in process knowledge and boat construction, able to assist in breaking down barriers that hinder efficiencies such as process, quality, warranty, and through-put issues.

Assist with management of new products including custom fabrication projects and prototype boats. Must have a firm understanding of all boat manufacturing processes.

Assists in Initiating and completing projects involving existing and prototype products.
Performs troubleshooting duties regarding equipment, product, and component issues.
Provides on-floor support to ensure production barriers are being addressed.
Associates or technical training in any field
Bachelors in any engineering field
Experience in boat manufacturing preferred.

Various boat construction methods used in 13-80' boats.
Working knowledge of all types of saltwater boats.


TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
~ Regular computer work, walking, and standing.
Performs tasks and duties under general supervision, using established procedures and innovation. Often makes recommendations to work procedures, policies, and practices.
