Description
Chemical Dependency Counselor On-Call. Will work closely with a multi-disciplinary team under the direction of the Clinical Supervisor in the Residential TX Program. Duties include, assessments, facilitation of groups, treatment planning, case management, crisis intervention and progress note documentation. Position requires individual be certified with one of the state-approved certification entities.Completion of academic addiction studies program and certification with CCAPP, CAADE or AAHCP or a Masters Degree in Behavioral Sciences or in at least 3rd year of a doctoral programin Psychology, or internship registration with the Board of Psychology as a Psychological Assistant or with the Board of Behavioral Sciences.
A minimum of five years clinical experience in a behavioral healthcare setting working with Substance Use/co-occurring disorders. Knowledge of the ASAM criteria preferred. Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) also preferred. To apply, submit application online.
