    Job Type Full-timeDescriptionSummary: Responsible for sales activities that promote Pinstack to Visitor Bureaus, Meeting Planners and Student Tour Operators; and to increase group business for the San Antonio locations.

    These activities include, but are not limited to; identifying potential target markets, and pursuing leads both inbound and outbound to overall meet fiscal period budgets.


    Primary Job Duties:


    Increase group tour/travel business using the following methods: cold calling via phone, outbound sales, email solicitation, use of databases, client meetings, preparing proposals, coordinating RFP responses and presentations.

    Maintain sales reporting and client files on groups that have the potential to use Pinstack as a location. Possess the ability to research and prospect for new accounts to supplement existing client base. Maintain a thorough understanding of the market and its trends.
    Maintain professional working relationships with area CVBs.

    Plan, coordinate, and participate in direct sales calls, sales blitzes, tours, site inspections, familiarization tours, tradeshows, industry events, meetings, and conventions as agreed upon in the annual marketing/sales plan.

    Establish contact with group and tour planners who are scheduled to bring groups into the area.
    Maintain a solid understanding of Pinstack's competition.


    RequirementsAdditional requirements:
    A college degree or equivalent training and experience in a related field are required. This position must possess excellent organizational, promotional, communication, and cooperative skills along with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
    Able to handle multiple tasks. Strong computer skills. Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills. Flexible and able to adjust to changing conditions and circumstances.


    Physical Requirements:
    Standing for long periods of time with frequent bending and turningMust be able to communicate with guests and deliver instructions
