License / Certification required:
BLS certification. Registered Respiratory Therapist and Alabama Licensed . NRP certification for those qualified to work in the NICU. Current license from the Alabama State Board of Respiratory Therapy. Registered Respiratory Therapist through the National Board for Respiratory Care.
Must possess excellent organizational and communication skills. Must have the ability to successfully complete work within rigid time constraints. Must possess reasoning ability and good independent judgment.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) are preferred. Neonatal Resuscitation (Neonatal Resuscitation (Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP))) certification for those qualified to work in the NICU
