    JOB SUMMARY
    Shipping and receiving all freight material arriving or leaving the company. Maintaining Warehouse. Pickup and delivery of parts to customers in our area.


    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Maintain purchase order file and receive all purchased items.
    • Unpack and check all material for damage and correct quantity.
    • Package and ship material as specified on authorized shipping documents, i.e. invoices, return merchandise request,etc.
    • Maintain warehouse to include stocking parts,and general housekeeping.
    • Maintain bill of lading and freight bill files.
    • Maintain parts core area and assemble core returns.

    REPORTING RELATIONSHIP
    The Shipping and Receiving Warehouse Clerk reports directly to the Parts Manager.


    QUALIFICATIONS
    Minimum of 3-5 years warehouse experience preferred

    Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information

    High school diploma or the equivalent

    Experience in shipping:
    knowledge of bills of lading, freight bills, shipping and receiving rates

    Packaging skills:
    knowledge of how material should be packed to reach its destination economically and without damage

    Excellent organization and communication skills written and verbal

    Ability to operate warehouse forklift and complete formal training program

    Valid Driver's License with clean driving record
