    Manufacturing Process Engineer

    Isola, an industry leader in global materials sciences whose mission is to improve life by enabling innovation in electronic products, is hiring a Manufacturing Process Engineer at our Ridgeway, SC facility.

    THE ROLE

    The Manufacturing Process Engineer oversees and improves our core manufacturing processes. This includes identifying areas for improvement, maintaining high levels of manufacturing and product quality, and ensuring cost efficiency and conformance with regulatory standards. This position also develops new ideas for automated machine improvement using the latest technology, tools, and methods.

    TOP RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Providing necessary manufacturing and industrial engineering process expertise to improve manufacturing process development tasks.
    • Leading and supporting Lean activities and 8D's / A3's.
    • Supporting equipment design upgrades to improve equipment utilization and optimization.
    • Supporting standard work, ISO documentation, and procedural creation.
    • Evaluating existing manufacturing processes and identifying areas for improvement.
    • Determining problem resolutions and implementing improvements.
    • Developing detailed layouts for equipment, processes, and workflow.
    • Researching and developing new processes, equipment, products, and cost-saving measures.
    • Ensuring manufacturing processes, equipment, and products comply with safety standards and legal regulations.
    • Maintain research and activity documentation and prepare reports.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor's degree in a related Engineering field
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing engineering roles
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of implementing successful process improvements.
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles
