Are you a skilled Paralegal seeking an opportunity to thrive in a dynamic legal environment? Look no further We are currently seeking a paralegal to join our Law Firm specializing in construction, commercial, banking, and insurance law.

As a Paralegal at our firm, you will provide invaluable support to designated attorneys and fellow paralegals. One attorney focuses on transactional work involving construction contracts, ensuring that each case presents unique challenges and opportunities for growth. Additionally, you'll assist a construction litigation attorney, engaging in client interfacing, calendar management, and administrative tasks. While there is some administrative work involved, the majority of your responsibilities will revolve around client interaction and calendar management. Paralegals must exhibit flexibility in juggling multiple matters and assignments in a given day.

Responsibilities

Managing the calendar for attorneys;
Document review and summarization;
Reviewing and summarizing records for attorney use;
Drafting discovery requests or pleadings;
Preparing correspondence for attorney's signature;
Filing pleadings with the appropriate court;
Organizing and maintaining document productions;
Reviewing document productions;
Creating case chronologies;
Preparing evidence and/or exhibits for trial/arbitration/mediation;
Scheduling court reporters, process servers, etc.;
Proofreading attorney work;
Running conflict checks;
Preparing billings and invoices;
Communicating with clients, other attorneys, and court staff;
Opening new matters; and/or
Preparing exhibits for depositions.
