- General Administrative Support for the IP Section.
- Provides general assistance to the IP Section's Senior Coordinator and Deputy Senior Coordinator.
- Leads on drafting and clearing a variety of documents, including Action and Decision Memos, Funding Opportunity Notices, and Congressional Notifications.
- Engages regularly with Department and interagency colleagues on the status of documents and clearances.
- Schedules, organizes, and takes notes at roundtables for anti-trafficking stakeholders who participate in annual J/TIP Office regional programming strategies and review of proposals the office receive for grant funding.
- Posts funding opportunities on websites and engage with applicants on matters related to their funding application
- Assists in the development and clearance of standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Takes meeting minutes and disseminates to appropriate Team members; attend meetings in place of IP Team members as needed and provides read-outs.
- Tracks and regularly distributes IP taskings.
- Leads on collecting data for various reports and data calls (e.g., annual Attorney General's Report)
- Assists Team members with travel preparation as needed.
- Maintains the IP Team Calendar and provides information as needed for other office calendars (e.g., the J/TIP Office Travel Calendar).
- Acts as a back-up for Team members out on travel or leave.
- Tracks and oversees proper file retention and destruction practices.
- A Bachelor's Degree in Arts or Science, fields related to international affairs, criminal justice, or with relevant research experience preferred.
- Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance.
- 1-10 years of demonstrated work experience related to human trafficking, criminal justice, rule of law, international affairs, or international grants management
- Ability to demonstrate excellent organizational, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service.
- Ability to use computer skill successfully.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Ability to use computer skills successfully.
- Ability to perform administrative tasks in a timely way from start to finish.

Estimated Starting Salary Range for Program Assistant starting at $38/hr
Pay commensurate with experience
