    JOB SUMMARY


    This position is responsible for developing and enhancing the selling, cross-selling, and qualification skills of sleep supply and fulfillment teammates in order to drive sales effectiveness.

    Assesses the skills and knowledge of new and incumbent teammates and provides additional coaching and training to address gaps. Responsible for the delivery of teammate training and development programs. Will provide input on new hire training curriculum. Viewed as a leader and trusted advisor within the department.


    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Delivers training to ensure the sales force has the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed. Training in delivered in small groups, large groups, or one-on-one, in either a virtual (web/phone) or in-person setting.
    • Develops training in partnership with Corporate Training, as needed, to support business priorities, initiatives, and performance targets.
    • Trains tenured teammates on how to sell Apria products and services, as well as how to use sales tools and resources.
    • Conducts needs assessments and evaluations to identify learning opportunities.
    • Provides feedback and recommends future training programs to Corporate Training.
    • Provides coaching and/or models desired behaviors to enhance teammates understanding of concepts and techniques.
    • Provides regular feedback to leadership on strategies to reinforce their teammates skills and knowledge.
    • Trains with a reassuring coaching style while demonstrating the ability to work with all types of learning styles, speeds, and personalities in learners.

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

    MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
    Education and/or Experience


    • Bachelor degree or equivalent experience
    • 3-5 years call center/sales training experience
    • Experience within a call center environment
    • Experience working and training in a virtual environment
    • Experience with online instructional strategies
    Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Professional Designations


    • N/A

    • College level mathematical proficiency, with a strong ability to understand, interpret and develop spreadsheet data.
    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (only include Preferred Qualifications if needed)

    Education and/or Experience


    • Direct-to-consumer marketing or selling experience a plus, but not required
    • Healthcare product experience a plus, but not required

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS


    This is a stationary position that requires frequent sitting or standing, repetitive wrist motions, grasping, speaking, listening, close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

    It also may require occasional lifting, carrying, walking, climbing, kneeling, bending/stooping, twisting, pulling/pushing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching above the shoulder.
