    Minnesota Adult & Teen Challenge, a leader in offering treatment programs to those battling addiction, is seeking a dynamic individual to fill our opening for a Center Director. This position is located at Lakeside Academy on our beautiful 48 acre campus in Buffalo, Mn.

    • Previous experience with the provision of CD, mental health, or social services
    • Experience working with multiple stakeholder groups (government, insurers, donors, clients)
    Essential duties and responsibilities:

    Overall responsibility of all aspects of the MnTC operations.

    Development/Marketing/Public Relations
    • Oversee local marketing strategies, programs and fundraising.
    • Representation of program to general public; clients, government officials and churches
    • Guard the reputation and brand of MnTC and communicate all potential risks, or negative exposure to supervisor
    • Ensure donor base growth and personal contact
    Administration
    • Oversee all aspects of Administration including HR, budget, purchasing and staff morale
    • Monthly monitor all budget issues including both income and expenditures and make adjustments as needed throughout the year
    • Supervise Administrative Staff
    Program
    • Ensure program is being operated according to MnTC policies and procedures
    • Address client grievances
    • Supervise Admissions Manager: Ensure that applicants are followed up with in an efficient manner
    • Supervise CE Counselor: Ensure that clients are receiving satisfactory and sufficient counseling.
    • Supervise Program Manager: Oversee the program operation and activities and ensure that clients are receiving proper care and treatment.
    • Supervise the Licensed Treatment Director, striving to develop the highest quality program possible
    Facility
    • Oversee maintenance, including overall condition, capital improvements, of the actual facility
    • Continually assess building usage and adjust to fit the changing needs of the program
    • Ensure compliance with building codes and licensing requirements
    • Supervise Maintenance Manager
    Food Service
    • Oversee all aspects of Food Service
    • Work with the manager to ensure high quality food offerings
    • Supervise Food Service Manager
    Personnel Supervised:
    • Admissions Manager
    • Program Manager
    • Licensed Treatment Director
    • CE Counselor
    • Food Service Manager
    • Maintenance Manager
    • Office Manager
    Minimum Qualifications:
    • Must be free of problematic substance use for at least the two years immediately preceding employment
    • Three years+ demonstrated leadership and managerial skills.
    • Previous management, director level experience
    • Strong ability to relate to and mentor people with life-controlling problems.
    • Ability to maintain professional standards of conduct and appearance with co-workers and the public.
    • Baccalaureate degree or documented three years general work experience in administration or personnel supervision in human services.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft office applications.
    • Possession of a valid driver's license and a clean driving record that will be accepted by this organization's vehicle insurance carrier. Ability to drive MnTC vehicles.
    • Ability to successfully complete criminal background check process.
