Position Overview: Spindle Staffing is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join their team for a short-term contract position at a school located in Weymouth, Massachusetts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing skilled nursing care to students in accordance with established protocols and procedures, administering medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers, monitoring and assessing student health needs, and maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records.

Responsibilities:

Provide skilled nursing care to students in accordance with established protocols and procedures
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
Monitor and assess student health needs, reporting any concerns to appropriate personnel
Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to student care
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records

Qualifications:

Valid LPN license in the state of Massachusetts
Experience working in a school or pediatric healthcare setting preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
CPR certification required
