    **Join Our Dynamic Med/Surg Team as a Registered Nurse**

    **Job Description:**
    - Location: Med/Surg 6C Unit
    - Shift: Days, 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30)
    - Patient Ratio: 1:5-6

    **Position Highlights:**
    - No travel experience required
    - Ideal for RNs with at least 1 year of Med/Surg experience
    - Mixed patient population: Med/Surg and intermediate care patients
    - Daily Census: 12 patients

    **Key Responsibilities:**
    - Provide top-quality nursing care in a fast-paced environment
    - Manage a variety of patient cases, including:
    - Post-angiogram
    - Post-cardiac surgery
    - Transitions for CVA, mood disorders, and substance withdrawal
    - Utilize your skills in IV therapy, cardiac monitoring, and respiratory management
    - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and Social Services

    **Preferred Qualifications:**
    - Certifications: ACLS*, BLS, NIHSS*
    - Skills in:
    - Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response
    - Telemetry monitoring (unit and remote)
    - Oxygen administration and non-invasive airway management
    - Wound care and management (Wound Vac*)
    - Blood product administration and central line blood draw
    - Experience with Epic charting system

    **Work Setting:**
    - Med/Surg and Telemetry Units
    - Patient Age Groups: Adults and Geriatrics
    - Float Required: Yes
    - Weekend Coverage: Every Other Weekend
