    Junior Broker

    This is an entry level opportunity at Amerex Brokers LLC providing 1st line support for Amerex Brokerage Operations.

    This is a vital introduction to the complex dynamics of the energy trading field via commodities OTC broker- dealer services.

    The junior broker will join a team of highly experienced professionals prepared to teach new trainees and convert the successful recruit from junior to associate revenue producer.

    Work with revenue producers, (Brokers), through transaction closing, deal entry and post-transaction customer service via telephone, e-mail, trading platforms, and trading floor support.

    Develop and maintain a solid understanding of the business operations of wholesale energy markets.
    Assist with maintaining trade platform records to reflect accurate client information and transaction execution. Help ensure Brokers adhere to proper process flows.

    Support brokers in the use of Trading & Exchange Platforms, which will include deal data entry for daily transactions, error free within specified timing deadline.

    Assist with setup and ensure accuracy of client information as needed for data management, invoice auditing and payment, and reporting services.

    Bachelor's degree.
    Strong interpersonal skills with ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
    Ability to work office hours (7am to 4pm) and beyond as needed.
    Strong computer skills, specifically with Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Excel,)

    This is an hourly position w/OT plus eligibility for discretionary bonuses. Benefits include medical, dental and vision insurance, and 401(k) savings options.
