    $ $60000 / yearBENEFITSCompetitive salary commensurate with experienceOpportunity for bonus and incentives based on performanceOpportunity for growth within the companyMajor Medical InsuranceShort-term and Long-term Disability InsuranceVoluntary Life, Vision, and Dental InsurancePTOPaid HolidaysRetirement Savings AccountCompany eventsRESPONSIBILITIES*Day to day responsibilities include but are not limited to*Servicing of assigned accounts, based on agency best practicesMaintaining a high level of client service and satisfactionMarketing & placement of assigned new business submissions and renewal accountsAchieving department account new business sales and retention goals through proactive account rounding, up-selling, and by providing extraordinary client serviceSkilled communication, sound decision-making, and self-reliance are necessary attributes of day-to-day activities.*Other general duties include but are not limited to*Maintaining client files and ensuring proper documentation through processing policies, adds and terms, invoices, binders, activities, etc., within established timelinesMaintain control of renewal expiration lists, binders, and any aged receivables Perform annual review analysis of renewal policiesRespond to client inquiries, incoming e-mail, mail, and company requests Prepare billing following credit and collection policiesReview all items to be processed, to ensure items were received as ordered Maintain current knowledge of underwriting requirements of carriersParticipate in continuing education courses for insurance and sales skillsKeep current with industry trends by reading appropriate journals and company bulletinsParticipate in any special projects at management's requestQUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATIONTwo-year associate college degree required; four-year college degree preferred Experience and expertise with technology and skilled in Adobe Pro, Word, Excel, Outlook, and operation of phone systems Excellent time management and organizational capabilitiesAdvanced verbal and written communication skillsDesire to acquire and maintain a thorough knowledge of the insurance industry products and practicesA high degree of self-motivation and self-direction Knowledge of brokerage operations including claims handling, procedures, rating, agency management system, and applicable insurance lawsFamiliarity with risk assessment and risk management techniquesWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
