The anticipated pay range for this position is $135,740-$157,071, annually; salary is dependent upon the skills and experience of the selected finalist.

Department Summary
The Technology Operations team oversees the design, development, implementation, maintenance, enhancement, and operations of IT platforms, systems, and applications in service of administrative units. The team also monitors the effectiveness and service delivery standards of these technologies to ensure business outcomes are met through innovative technologies. Additionally, the team focuses on process improvement and service excellence to key campus customers.The Physical Plant & Environmental Safety Products team oversees the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of a suite of products essential for activities such as campus operations, safety, emergency management, and environmental quality control. The team stays up to date on emerging technologies and industry best practices, recommending improvements to campus operations.
Position Summary
The Product Owner, Physical Plant and Environmental Safety Products will play a critical role in the strategy, implementation, and continuous improvement of UCLA's facilities management products by creating and supporting a product vision, roadmap, and backlog. They will work to ensure these products align with the university's strategic objectives and meet the evolving needs of UCLA's students, faculty, and staff. The Product Owner will conduct customer research and collaborate with key stakeholders across the university to develop and convey a distinct product vision.
The Product Owner, Physical Plant and Environmental Safety Products will be responsible for driving innovation and excellence by working closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and users to define requirements, prioritize features, and deliver exceptional value. The Product Owner, Physical Plant and Environmental Safety Products will positively impact UCLA's operations and culture by enabling IT platforms, systems, and applications in service of the institution's academic, research and service mission. This team member will advance the University's mission by delivering exceptional information technology services comprehensively and consistently across faculty, staff, and students. This role will execute UCLA's vision while modeling UCLA's culture and values.
