Candidates will be working in a mix of office and remote settings in Richmond, VA for this Project Manager/Scrum Master role. The position is expected to last 8-12+ months, with a possibility of extension. If you are intrigued, please provide the following:

Ensures consistent project delivery throughout the project lifecycle, managing project plans, resource allocation, and project risks effectively.
Facilitates Agile Ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Retrospectives, Sprint Demos, Story Refinement, and Release Planning.
Updates the project team, stakeholders, and management on project progress regarding schedule, cost, and risks.
Fosters a productive team environment and aids in removing obstacles.
Maintains a positive team relationship and assists in managing the product backlog efficiently.
Monitors team velocity and project metrics.
Encourages continuous improvement and productivity enhancement within teams.
Supports Product Owner and team in Product backlog management.
Ensures adherence to core Agile principles and relevant project management practices.
Performs additional assigned responsibilities.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Strong grasp of software development life cycles and Agile project management principles.
Ability to engage with customers, understand their business needs, and manage expectations.
Setting clear performance standards, keeping teams on track, and promoting accountability.
Proficiency in mentoring, coaching, collaborating, and team building.
Solid analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills.
Capability to analyze and document business and system processes.
Skilled in balancing quality, scope, schedule, and cost demands.
Expertise in Scrum and Kanban Agile methodologies.
PMP and CSM Certifications are essential.
Preferably, experience with SAFe framework.

Required/Desired Skills:

Current PMP certification from PMI - Required
Solid understanding of software development life cycles - Required - 10 Years
Familiarity with Scrum/Kanban Agile Methodology - Required - 5 Years
Experience in mentoring, coaching, collaborating, and team building - Required - 8 Years
Mandatory CSM certification. Please provide a copy of the certification. - Required
Knowledge of SAFe Framework - Desired
Hands-on experience with MS Project - Required - 3 Years
