- Implements a district-wide customer service driven philosophy that focuses on value and satisfaction.
- Establishes measurable financial objectives and goals.
- Implements a cost-effective procurement system.
- Develops guidelines for providing services in response to disaster or emergency situations.

CONTRACT INFORMATION: Days Employed: 240 Salary: Commensurate with experience
QUALIFICATIONS: A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree is required. The Director of Food Nutrition must also successfully complete the SDE sponsored manager's course and the department of Health Safe Service course. Staff Development and manager re-certification must also be met. Serv-Safe certification from Mississippi Department of Health must be acquired.
PURPOSE: In keeping with the mission statement of PCSD, the Director of Food Nutrition will strive to cultivate a spirit of pride, growth and service to prepare students to flourish as leaders in our community and in the competitive world. The Director of Food Nutrition provides quality nutrition programs that promote life-long healthful living while providing nutritious meals each day that prepare children for learning. This person will oversee all aspects of the district Child Nutrition Program operation. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
