    job summary:


    An industry leader in water utilities is seeking a Water Resource Engineer to join its team in New Haven, CT.

    As Water Resource Engineer, you will work with the Engineering and Operations teams to implement system improvements for water quality, treatment, maintenance, and distribution.

    Candidates should understand how to identify water system issues/deficiencies, creating the scoping of projects, and scheduling long-term plans, all the way through design-bid and closeout of the project.

    You will participate in budgeting, design, developing benchmarks, and planning, modeling, and policy implementation.
    Candidates should have a degree in civil, environmental, or mechanical engineering, and a PMP and PE/EIT is preferred. 5+ years of experience with water/wastewater (or natural gas distribution) is required.
    This role is expected to be hybrid as business needs dictate, after your initial onboarding/ramp-up period.
