As a Recovery Coach, you'll have a dynamic and critical providing peer-to-peer services in the community and at our extended care facilities.
The Recovery Coach will also find and participate in the development of community resources; provide coaching and support recoverees in directing their own recovery, staff training, and liaison with the management of assigned sites as needed.
Completion of the CCAR training with the intention of completing courses necessary for licensureExperience in the human services field and residential settings, providing strengths-based coaching and recovery orientated relationship building is preferred
Participate in planning and developing of Recovery Wellness Plans.
Advocate and be a liason to extended care facilities in order to maintain and expand relationships to these programs whenever possible.
Maintain records according to VOA Policies and Procedures, completing all documentation and billing in a timely manner.Coordinate with external referrals sources in order to build and maintain target caseload.
