  • Pay Range: Actual pay may vary up or down depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for incentive compensation.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Co-create product strategy with your peers and oversee the execution of that strategy.
  • Contribute to the strategic planning, direction, and goal setting of senior leadership.
  • Manage a product team to deliver user and business value using an outcome-driven approach.
  • Help product managers identify opportunities, evaluate proposals, and outline the costs and benefits to the company.
  • Maintain a roadmap for their entire portfolio.
  • Hold meetings and conferences with other directors to discuss the difficulties that are being faced by each department, roadmap obstacles, possible tasks and solutions, and what they require to achieve these solutions.
  • Prepare and lead executive-level presentations on team performance, product performance and market research.
  • Gather and prioritize product features and related requirements.
  • Identify risks, issues, and problems and escalate as appropriate, proposing mitigation plans to overcome obstacles in the product development process.
  • Other duties as assigned.

    Responsible for the hiring and performance management of other employees.

    Education

    Minimum: Bachelors Computer Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related degree

    Preferred: Graduate Degree Masters of Business Administration

    Experience

    years Prior experience managing the full product life cycle for multiple product lines.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Experience managing a team of product managers.
  • Experience authoring business plans for commercially available products or services.
  • Experience creating detailed product line, competitive, and industry analysis.
  • Demonstrated history of external focused, customer-driven product requirements and research.
  • Experience running agile product management teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Powerpoint).
  • Management and leadership skills.
  • Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Polished presentation skills, able to present to customers, upper management, engineers, and sales.
  • Working knowledge of Jira & Conversant projects a plus.
