    Established in 1972 W. Craig Adams, Inc. is a reputable site contractor in the commercial and industrial markets. Headquartered in York, Pennsylvania, we specialize in earthwork construction including site preparation, demolition, asphalt and utility services.

    SUMMAY OF POSITION

    We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to become part of our growing team. The Project Manager is responsible for creating and maintain CPM schedules, understanding cost impacts/analysis, and communicate with Superintendents and subcontractors at the jobsite.

    A strong candidate should have excellent computer and communication skills, and ability to multitask and lead multiple projects at once.

    DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Oversee and manage several projects
    • Arrange and acquire construction materials and services needed for projects
    • Conduct and collaborate with Superintendent to confirm that projects are fully manned to meet daily schedules and budget costs
    • Establish project schedules with the guidance of the Estimator and Superintendent
    • Track and regulate project costs and inform any inconsistencies to leadership team
    • Visit project sites as required to manage the progress of schedule, to review any problems and ensure the work being performed is superior
    • Attend various meetings with subcontractors and other staff members to discuss the profession of the project
    • Communicate the progression of the project to appropriate members effectively
    • Prepare and oversee change order requests
    • Perform other related duties as required

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • 2-4 Year post-secondary degree preferred in Engineering, Construction Management or related is preferred
    • Prior Project Management experience is required
    • Field construction experience is required
    • Ability to work in a small work environment
    • Ability to work independently and as a team player
    • Strong computer, software and communication skills
