    The Studio Research & Analytics team is currently seeking a Consumer Insights Manager to support the on Disney+ Product and Consumer Experience tracking programs.

    This involves managing quantitative and qualitative research initiatives, as well as analyzing and synthesizing data, for key stakeholders.


    Responsibilities:


    Overall, manage quantitative and qualitative research projects from inception to completion, including study design, development of appropriate methodologies, vendor selection and management, project management, analysis, and report/findings deliveryWorking with the team to ensure that every deliverable is strategically actionable and drives key decision makingServe as a point of contact for various groups within the Disney+ division, and across the broader enterprise, providing consumer and industry-based input to the decision making processSpecifically, manage the day-to-day operations of the Disney+ customer experience tracking program, especially vendor management, project management and report deliverables.

    Assist in managing on-going and ad hoc reports using quantitative and qualitative data for various groups within the product marketing, engagement, & product strategy of Disney+ and the Disney BundleAssist in acquiring and managing research tools as required to meet the needs of internal custom experience trackingAcquire and manage syndicated research products as required to meet the needs of internal stakeholdersSynthesize primary and secondary research to inform decision makingRespond to time sensitive data requests from internal clientsSupport presentation of findings based on research conducted and contribute to related business discussionsManage expectations of internal clients as it relates to project timelines, budgets, and deliverablesBe at the forefront of SVOD industry trends amidst a rapidly changing landscapeBuild and maintain relationships with research counterparts within the team as well as from other divisions of The Walt Disney Company as well as external vendorsStay abreast of current trends and new techniques in the field of market research

    Basic Qualifications:3+ years quantitative and qualitative market research experienceExtensive quantitative and qualitative research background, either supplier-side, client-side, or some combination thereofExperience with SPSS, Reporter, Q or MarketsightExperience with survey platforms such as Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey, etc.

    Willing to travel domestically and internationally as neededSolid quantitative and qualitative project management skillsStrong vendor management skillsStrong multitasking capabilities and the ability to work effectively in an environment of tight deadlines and constant changeStrong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to summarize ideas and issues in an organized wayStrong attention to detail without losing sight of broader objectivesFlexible personality, quick learner and a strong, pro-active work ethicAble to work autonomously as well as part of a teamStrong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlinesComputer literate with proficiencies in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Google DocsConfident, self-motivated, and detail orientedAnalytical thinker who enjoys problem-solvingIntellectual curiosity and a passion for innovationStrong social, collaboration, and communication skills

    Preferred Qualifications:
    MBA or advanced degree in Market ResearchEntertainment market research experience, with an emphasis on SVOD, TV, and/or In-Home content consumptionInternational Market Research experienceStrong business acumenOrganizational savvy, with the ability to read a roomCompelling storytellerWilling to challenge traditional thinkingStrong builder of relationships and trustPassionate consumer of content movies, TV, SVODFamiliarity with the brands and franchises of The Walt Disney Company

    Required Education:

    Bachelors Degree in Business, Marketing, Psychology or related fieldThe hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $112,100 -$150,200 per year.

    The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidates geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.

    A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
