    Job Description:

    The Department of Mathematics at the University of Florida invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor position, beginning August 16, 2024. The area of specialization is open, but special attention will be given to applicants whose research interests overlap with current faculty. The teaching assignment is 4 courses per year, 2 courses in the fall semester and 2 courses in the spring semester, and may include lower division course assignments (calculus, etc.). Participation in the department's research activities is expected. A Ph.D. in the mathematical sciences or the equivalent is required. Candidates with strong promise in research and teaching are encouraged to apply.

    Minimum Requirements:

    A Ph.D. degree in Mathematics or a closely related field is required.
