RESPONSIBLE FOR:

Coordinating, consultations and diagnosticevaluations with patients having known or suspected communicationdisorders and/or oropharyngeal dysphagia; and interpretingassessment data; planning and performing speech-language pathologytreatment intervention programs when appropriate that restorefunction, prevent disability and help patients reach maximumpotential.

Qualifications:

MINIMUM EDUCATIONREQUIRED:


Master's Degree in Speech-LanguagePathology/Communication Disorders from an accredited graduateschool. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the AmericanSpeech-Language-Hearing Association(ASHA).

MINIMUMLICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BYLAW:


Licensure by the Georgia Board of Examinersof Speech/Language Pathology. BLS certification throughAHA.
