    Job Summary

    Evaluates, administers and directs administration of therapeutic procedures utilized in physical medicine and rehabilitation, as prescribed by a referring practitioner, establishes goals of occupational therapy and re-assesses patient's progress at regular, timely intervals, supporting findings with appropriate documentation.

    - Utilizes evidenced-based practices in treatments and presents in-service research/techniques/scholarly article to clinic staff quarterly.

    • Participate in marketing programs to promote hospital service lines associated to occupational therapy topics
    • Maintain friendly, cordial relations with all clients and employees; maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner that results in a positive work relationship with customers, co workers and managers.
    • Maintain the highest standards of service through continuing education at professional seminars or workshops, improving personal skills and knowledge, and to fulfill the requirements for continuing education as mandated by the AOTA.
    • Promotes the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual wellbeing of those we serve.

    Education:
    Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited school.


    Experience:
    One to three years' experience is preferred. New graduates are acceptable.


    Licenses/Certificates:
    Must maintain a current State of Illinois Occupational Therapist license. Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required upon hire.
