Professional Engineer – General Civil/Municipal

Position Overview:

We are excited to be hiring a Professional Civil Engineer in thriving Reno, Nevada.

While applying technical civil engineering knowledge and skills, this engineering position will:

Provide engineering design and project management services for municipal engineering including water, sewer, public facilities (education, public safety, etc.) development projects, and other public works infrastructure and municipal services within northern Nevada and the surrounding region.

Participate in all phases of project development, design, and construction.
Analyze engineering data, interpret plans and specifications, and make sound decisions to solve challenges.
Collaborate with other engineers, planners and public agencies on projects.
Collaborate with engineers and planners for reports, design, and construction phase services for various private and public agency projects.
Coordination and support of projects on multi-disciplinary projects throughout the company.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Civil Engineering. Certification as Professional Engineer (P.E.).
2+ years of qualified experience as a P.E.; 6+ years of qualified experience is preferred.
Excellent communication and writing skills.
Willingness to mentor junior staff.
Proven technical background and skillset
Municipal & development engineering background.

Salary Range starts at $95,000-$145,000negotiable based on experience.
