    POSITION SUMMARY:
    Full Time - Days (8a-5p)

    The Staffing Coordinator (LPN) will plan, organize, develop and direct the overall operation of education programs for facility staff in accordance with current existing federal, state and local standards, and established policies and procedures of the facility.


    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
    To perform this job, an individual must perform essential functions satisfactorily with or without a reasonable accommodation; including, but not limited to:

    Develop, coordinate and implement educational programs and in-services according to identified priorities
    Teach 75-hour training program for mandated certified nursing aides training program
    Perform emergency procedures such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)

    Prepare reports and recommendations for the Administrator regarding the operation of the in-service department
    Assist administration in conducting disability management programs to reduce worker injuries and track departmental accountability
    Review and determine validity of licensure and certification of personnel as required to meet state and/or federal requirements
    Assist the administrator and others in developing, implementing and updating written procedures for discharge planning


    Required Work Experience:
    Minimum of two (2) years nursing experience in a hospital, long-term care facility or other health care institution
    Case/Utilization Management


    Licensing/Certification/Education Requirements:
    Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) License in the State where the facility is located
    Current State of Tennessee License Practical Nurse (LPN)


    Other Requirements:
    Position may require unscheduled overtime, week-end work
    Must be willing and able to work flexible hours
    Travel required


    Physical Requirements:
    Job may require occasional lifting of objects up to 40 pounds

    SIGN-ON BONUS TERMS

    Full Time Only

    Paid out over 3 months @ $2,000 after completion of 30 days of employment, 60 days of employment, and 90 days of employment.
