- Conduct daily inspections of construction projects to ensure quality, compliance with building codes, construction drawings, and project specifications.
- Inspect various disciplines such as structural steel, concrete, masonry, fireproofing, etc.
- Perform visual/physical inspections and field testing to verify compliance with plans and specifications.
- Generate inspection reports and document observations and material testing.
- Communicate findings to engineers or project managers and collaborate on solutions to potential issues.
- Adhere to rigorous safety standards.
- Conduct testing, observation, and inspection as per procedures to verify work meets contract specifications.
- Interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Document findings and results clearly.
- Conduct basic data analysis to ensure accuracy before submission to the Project Manager.
- Communicate information effectively to the Project Manager and team members.
- Provide input on issue resolution to clients and site personnel.
- Assist in defining testing and inspection scopes.
- Coordinate activities with managers for project readiness.
- Maintain equipment operation and calibration.
- Support senior inspectors on complex projects.
- Follow safety protocols and report any concerns.
- Uphold quality standards on all projects.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

An ideal candidate should have 2-5+ years of experience in construction inspection.
o NICET Level II certification in Geotechnical (Construction, Laboratory, Exploration, Generalist)
o ICC certification (Reinforced Concrete, Fireproofing, Structural Masonry, Prestressed/Post-Tensioned Concrete, Structural Steel Bolting, Structural Steel Welding).
o AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI)
o ASNT Level II certification (VT, MT, PT, RT, UT).
o Other relevant Materials certifications will be considered if approved by the Terracon Department Manager.
o ACI certification* in Concrete Field Testing Technician Grade I
