- ECG is currently hiring for the Machinist III (Finish Lathe) position.
- Employees in this position operate large, CNC-controlled crankshaft milling machines.
- The Machinist III position is a non-exempt, full time opportunity that typically works a 4-on 4-off schedule working 12 hour shifts.
- Machinist III may work day, night, or rotating shifts as dictated by business needs.
- Primary responsibility is to operate a large, manual finish lathe machine: Loading work piece into machine, layout and setting work offsets Monitoring the machining process, identifying and correcting issues Unloading and deburring of semi-finished part Indexing carbide inserts, rebuilding and basic repairs of tooling system
- Basic machine maintenance (simple repairs, filling oil tanks, cleaning out chips and debris)
