- Clean and stock work cart daily
- Report unusual findings to the Supervisor
- Report items needing repair to the Supervisor.
- Exhibits good ergonomic use of cleaning and other supplies.
- Mix all cleaning solutions according to the formula specified.
- Respond to pager system in a timely and courteous fashion.
- Utilizes supplies and equipment efficiently and cost effectively.
- Clean and re-make a neat patient bed.
- Dry and wet mop floors.
- Ability to operate electrical equipment such as vacuums, stripper-scrubber, buffer and carpet extractor.
- Properly dispose of all trash, including bio trash.
- Completes and turns in daily checklist to manager
- Thoroughly and completely cleans and disinfects all areas with attention to detail
- Is knowledgeable about departmental processes/procedures and able to clean all areas of the hospital including but not limited to patient rooms, surgery, OB, ER, Laboratory, Family Practice and more.

Subject to falls from ladders, back injury, slipping and/or falling on wet floors, minor injuries and infections, communicable diseases and exposure to disagreeable sights and odors.
