- Evaluate the tax aspects of partnership agreements and manage the client's Internal Revenue Code 704b accounts
- Manage multiple client services teams on engagements, plan, execute, and complete tax projects in various industries, provide innovative tax planning, consulting, and compliance expertise, and implement tax-planning strategies for clients
- Supervise, develop, train, and mentor staff on tax projects, assess their performance, and conduct year-end reviews
- Research and consult on different tax matters, particularly in Sub-chapter K-Partnership taxation, utilizing tax-related software for preparation and processing
- Address inquiries from tax authorities
- Maintain active communication with clients, manage expectations, meet deadlines, and enhance client relationships
- Support business development activities, such as proposal development and pursuit activities
- Perform any other assigned duties
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- CPA certification required
- Minimum of six to ten years of progressive tax compliance and/or consulting experience in public accounting or a combination of industry and public accounting
- Experience in partnership structuring, entity formation, and mergers & acquisitions preferred
- Strong analytical, technical, and tax accounting/technology skills with proficiency in US GAAP, partnership returns, joint venture, and non-corporate entity tax returns
- Exceptional client service and communication skills with the ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships
- Strong leadership, business development, recruiting, training, coaching, and mentoring skills, along with excellent written, interpersonal, and presentation abilities
- Ability to handle multiple engagements and priorities in a fast-paced, results-oriented team environment
- Willingness to travel when required
