    PROM Post Silicon Validation Engineer at Intel in Boise, Idaho, United States Job Description Job Description The hire will be involved in deep sub-micron IC logic and VLSI validation, test plan development, debug and validating competitive solutions with Intel's PROM IP for use in mobile, IOT, client, network, and server segments


    Job Responsibilities:

    • Define, design, execute PROM Pre-Silicon and Post-Silicon validation plans.
    • Develop and execute validation tasks, review requirements coverage, lead execution, drive debug and taskforces for issues resolution.
    • Create and optimize test setups, test vectors, and automated test scripts.
    • Optimize processes and systems based on experimental findings, driving improvements in efficiency, quality, and cost effectiveness.
    • Analyze experimental results using statistical methods and DOE software to draw meaningful conclusions and make data driven recommendations.
    • Create detailed reports and presentations to communicate experiment results and recommendations to stakeholders.

    Candidate must possess the following behavioral traits/sills:

    • Clear documentation and communication skills: thorough, concise, effective documentation of test plan, verification and testing is expected, as well as data characterization and visualization.
    • Problem solving skills, track record of team and collaboration skills. This is an entry level position and compensation will be given accordingly. #DesignEnablement Qualifications You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Knowledge and/or experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork and/or classes and/or research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

    Minimum qualifications:

    Candidate must possess a BS degree with 3+ months of experience or MS degree with 6+ months of experience in Electrical Engineering or related field.


    3+ months of experience in the following:

    • Digital design and semiconductor manufacturing.
    • Proficiency in post-silicon verification methodologies, tools, and automation (e.g., ATE, JTAG, DFT).
    • Test bench creation to generate test patterns and vectors, diagnosis of test patterns on silicon and optimizes test time.
    • Solid programming and scripting skills (e.g., Python, Perl, etc).
    • Debugging.
    • Pre-si verification methodologies (eg: UVM, OVM), testbench and waveform debug tools (eg: Verdi)

    Preferred Qualifications:

    3+ months of experience in the following:

    • Mixed signal circuits like memory arrays, voltage level detectors, charge pump, voltage regulators.
    • Post-silicon verification, product validation, or experimental design.
