    Company in buildings construction in North Houston is currently seeking a Human Resources Manager or Director to join their team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal "HANDS ON" role in supporting all aspects of Human Resources on strategic initiatives. They will be responsible for enhancing and maintaining the organization's human resources by developing, implementing, and evaluating human resources policies, programs, and practices.

    The right Director is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of Human Resources (HR), which encompass recruitment, selection, benefits administration, and enforcement of company policies. The preferred candidate will possess previous experience in recruitment and HR, demonstrating proficiency in screening, interviewing, and hiring techniques.     Duties

    • Conduct full cycle recruiting and development with continuous improvement.
    • Provide support to the Executive in activities, including meetings regarding staffing needs related to company operations.
    • Conduct employee training sessions on company policies and procedures.
    • Foster the development of a superior workforce while ensuring compliance with company policies.
    • Implementation of the company's insurance and benefits program.
    • Manage employee documentation and department files.
    • Support succession management efforts, as needed, with our senior leaders to provide insight and identify development opportunities.
    • Manage paid time off records for company employees.
    • Focus on recruiting, employee orientation, development, and training, policy development, employee relations, regulatory compliance, compensation and benefits administration, employee welfare, wellness, and health.
    • Implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
    • Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
    • Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.

    Required:

    • Bachelors in HR or a related field with a SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification and Masters preferred. CPLP credential, preferred.
    • 5 - 10 years of experience in Human Resources and organizational development and recruiting.
    • Excellent decision making and professionalism with great organizational skills.
    • Experience designing and implementing effective training and development programs.
    • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations

    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
    • Strong presentation skills.
    • Adept with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods.
    • Ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives.
    • Previous success with recruiting and staffing.
    • Able to focus on compensation and benefits administration.

    Paying $150,000 for the right candidate with the above experience that is degreed with certifications and must have great tenure.
