    Job Title: School Occupational Therapist

    Location: Fremont, California area

    Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team at aschool near Fremont, California. As a School Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping students achieve their academic and functional goals by providing specialized therapy services.

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities.
    • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and collaborate with teachers and other professionals to integrate therapy goals into the students' educational plans.
    • Provide direct occupational therapy services to students, including therapeutic activities, exercises, and interventions aimed at improving fine motor skills, visual perception, handwriting, and daily living skills.
    • Monitor students' progress, document therapy sessions, and maintain accurate records of treatment plans, progress reports, and other required documentation.
    • Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other team members to provide recommendations and strategies for optimizing students' functional performance in the classroom and other school settings.
    • Attend Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of IEP goals and objectives.
    • Stay updated on the latest research, trends, and best practices in school-based occupational therapy to enhance service delivery.

    Qualifications:

    • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
    • Current license to practice occupational therapy in the state of California.
    • Experience working with children, preferably in a school setting.
