HTI is seeking Manual Machinists for a global manufacturer in Liberty, SC. The Manual Machinist openings are DIRECT HIRE positions on 2nd & 3rd shift. Pay rate depends on experience and is approximately $ /hour.

Shift differentials for each shift include:
$1.50 on 2nd and $2.50 on 3rd

What You Need:
Associates Degree in Machine Tool & Die and/or Toolmaker Journeyman's Card 5+ year' experience as a Tool & Die Maker/Machinist

What Your Role Will Look Like:

The Tool & Die Maker creates and designs machine parts by analyzing specifications, metal stock, setting-up and operating machine tools, and fit and assemble parts, and repair cutting tools, jigs, fixtures, gauges, and miscellaneous components using appropriate Tool Room equipment to complete the job in the most efficient manner.

Making tooling and components for production lines, and working with production engineers on new parts Analyzes work orders, blueprints, sketches, models, and/or descriptions to visualize shape of a part or tool and determine material required Sets up and operates machine tools such as milling machine, shaper, and grinder, to machine parts and verifies conformance of machined parts to specifications Machinist examines current or previously used dies, tools, jigs and fixtures and recommends design modifications regarding construction and function of part The Machinist must have the ability to hold a tolerance as close as Proficient in Microsoft Office, CMM systems, 3D Modeling, and CAD Software SystemsHTI and our client are equal opportunity employers M/D/F/V/SO#INDPRO
